Hi i'm Lucy and i'm a home baker based in the north of England.

I started Baking as a hobby when i was younger and loved being able to be creative whilst cooking.

Really i would find any excuse under the sun to bake something! Then in 2022 i fell pregnant and gave birth in December to my beautiful little monkey Zayn. My maternity leave wasn't easy because of how ill i became after having Zayn but it did give me a lot of time to perfect baking. As i got better and Zayn got a little bigger baking cupcakes became our favourite activity to do together, i knew it was Zayn's favourite activity because whenever i'd put the mixer on he'd laugh hysterically. But as you can imagine cakes and babies combined make double the mess, but triple the fun!

I very quickly decided when it was time to go back to work that 9-5 just wasn't what i wanted to do anymore. i needed a job i was passionate about, something i knew i had fun doing that would also give me the freedom to work around Zayn... So Zayn's Cupcake Co. was created. 

I chose to name my little baking business after Zayn and our favourite activity to do together. It's still pretty small but we're having a tone of fun growing. 

Here at Zayn's Cupcake Co. We make all sorts of baked treats now, From mini brownies to NYC cookies, to bespoke celebration cakes, to mini cakes to blondies.. honestly the list is never ending now and we just keep adding to it!
